David Cameron urged to clamp down on illicit tobacco sales costing taxpayer £2 billion

David Cameron was today urged to clamp down on those supplying illicit tobacco in Medway by doubling the maximum sentence for the crime.

Following reports that shops in his constituency of Gillingham and Rainham were making £25,000 a week out of the illegal trade, MP Rehman Chishti quizzed the prime minister on the issue in the House of Commons.
