Ontario Provincial Police seized 100 boxes of unmarked cigarettes, worth about $70,000, during a RIDE program at approximately 1 a.m. near Godfrey, Ont. on Wednesday April 20, 2016.
Two men in their 70s have been charged by the Ontario Provincial Police after $70,000 in unmarked cigarettes were seized during a RIDE program near Godfrey Wednesday morning.
OPP had set up the program at the intersection of Road 38 and Westport Road in South Frontenac, when they stopped a van at approximately 1 a.m. Speaking with the 72-year-old driver and the 70-year-old passenger, an investigation determined they were in possession of unmarked cigarettes.
