TWO new tobacco strike team units will be established and $7.7 million spent over the next two years to fight illegal chop chop and cigarettes.

Minister Immigration and Border Protection Peter Dutton said the new cash would help “crush” organised criminal syndicates attempting to smuggle illicit tobacco into Australia.
