Pedro Perez of Holyoke allegedly delivered untaxed cigarettes to stores in MA, CT, RI
HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – A man accused of running a multi-state illegal tobacco-selling operation was in a Holyoke courtroom again Tuesday.
A brief hearing for 53 year-old Pedro Perez was held in Holyoke District Court. According to the Attorney General’s Office, Perez regularly delivered trash bags filled with cartons of untaxed cigarettes to convenience stores in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. He also allegedly sold the cigarettes out of his Holyoke home.
