WESTPORT — A New York couple have been charged with producing fake credit cards and attempting to use them to purchase large amounts of cigarettes from local stores.
Police also found more than 20 cartons of stolen cigarettes in the trunk of their vehicle, said Lt. David Farrell, the department spokesman.
