Law360, New York (July 18, 2016, 8:06 PM ET) — Prosecutors from the city and state of New York urged a federal court Monday to deny FedEx Inc.’s bid to nix part of a lawsuit alleging the parcel carrier made illegal shipments of untaxed cigarettes from Native American reservations, arguing the claim that a federal law preempts the law prosecutors are using to sue the company is false.
