A Long Island couple admitted in court this week to smuggling in and storing hundreds of cartons of untaxed cigarettes and scores of counterfeit tax stamps in a Flushing home they owned, prosecutors announced.
Ben C. Chen, 42, and Qin F. Liu, 39, of Syosset paid the price for the cache of 375 cartons of untaxed cigarettes and 3,540 individual counterfeit tax stamps that detectives discovered at 136-19 60th Ave. during a raid on March 1, 2016.
