According to court documents unsealed Wednesday, Basim Talouzi has also been known to go by the names Basim Telouzi, Vasem Talouzi and Basin Talouzi.

Federal prosecutors say, in total, Talouzi arranged for the sale and delivery of about 2,594,400 contraband cigarettes. The total amount of contraband cigarettes equaled 17,112 cartons. The West Virginia tax per carton was $5.50.
