Three men who police say were smuggling cigarettes from Virginia to New York were stopped and arrested Monday night on Interstate 78 in Upper Macungie Township, according to court records.

Police charged Mahmoud M. Abdelkader Etman, 31, Ayman I. Farruk, 48, and Mohamed Abdelaal, 52, with possession of unstamped cigarettes and criminal conspiracy. Abdelkader Etman was also charged with speeding.
