Woman charged after RCMP seize 200,000 cigarettes

A 61-year-old Beatty woman is facing charges after police seized approximately 200,000 cigarettes, more than $5,000 cash and a vehicle and cargo trailer.

Yorkton Municipal RCMP responded to a call for assistance from CN Rail Police regarding a traffic stop and subsequent seizure of illegal tobacco.

Monique Blanche Milliken was arrested an charged with possession and transport of tobacco product exceeding 10,000 cigarettes for the purpose of sale, possession of proceeds of crime exceeding $5,000 and possession of unstamped tobacco product.
