St. Paul’s proposed menthol ban is tweaked, now with 2018 implementation

The St. Paul City Council has made key changes to a proposal that would ban menthol cigarettes from convenience stores and restrict sales exclusively to adults-only tobacco shops.

In addition, Brendmoen proposed allowing liquor stores to sell menthol cigarettes, which was approved by the council 4-3 after more discussion.
