Rikers inmates accused of breaking guard’s nose in retaliation for tobacco bust

Three city inmates allegedly broke a jail officer’s nose after they were ordered by a top gang boss to retaliate for an earlier contraband bust on Rikers Island, according to the union representing jail captains.

Bohler, 22, who is awaiting trial on attempted murder charges, was allegedly acting as a courier for a reputed Bloods gang leader, Wilford Lora, 26, according to Patrick Ferraiuolo, president of the Correction Captains Association.
