A subdivision of the Dutch police with trained eagles was disbanded

A little more than a year there was a division of the Dutch police, using trained eagles for the interception of drones . Birds will be transferred to other owners, and the program is collapsed. This decision was made for two reasons: firstly, the need for eagles was exaggerated; secondly, they were not effective enough.
