LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) — The cyber attacks which have compromised the personal information of hundreds of millions of Americans, from Target shoppers to those insured by Anthem, represent only a portion of threats hackers present to Americans.
In an interview with WHAS11’s I-Team, U.S. Sen. Dan Coats (R-Indiana) could not reveal classified details of the Senate Intelligence Committee, but said those briefings convince him that cybersecurity is “the number one threat to the United States in terms of the impact it can have on our country, on our economy and on our people.”
