Cloud computing giants are willing to give the Australian government information about hacker attacks on them but want the government to play ball too.

The “missing link” to Australia’s capacity to fend off sophisticated hackers is a real-time exchange of threat intelligence between the private sector and the government, the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) has told the government’s cyber security review.
