WASHINGTON (Jan. 21, 2016) — Vehicle manufacturers and government regulators must consider how vehicles are serviced and repaired if they want to avoid harm to both motorists and auto care professionals in the design of vehicle cybersecurity systems.
That’s the warning an Auto Care Association (ACA) executive issued at an event sponsored by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
