NIST, Cybersecurity Commission Demonstrate Transparency in Seeking Public Comments on Cyber Security

Editor’s Note: NIST and the President’s Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity are demonstrating an important commitment to transparency by providing (1) seeking a broad range of public comments on cyber security issues and (2) providing the comments for public inspection and discussion via an online docket that is available here. Comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on September 9, 2016.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology is seeking public comment on a broad range of cybersecurity issues.

NIST issued a request for information in Wednesday’s Federal Register for public opinion to help guide its advisory role in the White House’s Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity.
