NIST advisers examine role of emerging ‘certified’ info-sharing groups

GAITHERSBURG, MD. An advisory panel for the National Institute of Standards and Technology questioned the role and purpose of “certified” information sharing and analysis organizations, or ISAOs, as the cyber info-sharing ecosystem grows amid the continued work of longstanding info-sharing and analysis centers, or ISACs, which are largely focused on industry sectors.
