CyCon Registration Closes Soon

With less than one month to go to the beginning of CyCon, the registration to the 6th International Conference on Cyber Conflict will close soon. The updated agenda includes H. E. Toomas Hendrik Ilves (President of the Republic of Estonia), Dr Jamie Shea (NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges), Mike Rogers (Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence), Dmitri Alperovitch (CrowdStrike) and Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach (UK Vice-Chief of the Defence Staff).

CyCon 2014 will focus on ‘Active Cyber Defence’ and, as has been the standard for CyCon events so far, the talks will vary from the technical talks to legal, strategic and policy talks with many panel discussions and Q&A sessions in between. The pre-CyCon workshop day on 3 June includes three workshops – Responsive Cyber Defence Workshop, Cyber Norms Development Workshop and Cyber Ranges and Exercise Design Workshop – with registration to the Responsive Cyber Defence Workshop already closed due to high popularity.

Full participation fee is 600 € but special discount rates are available for governmental employees (420 €) and students (300 €). Representatives of media are welcome to the event with accredited media receiving free access to the conference.

CyCon 2014 is supported by IEEE, Microsoft, Intel Security, Verint, Cisco, Lancope, Ixia and IBM.
