The U.S. National Marine Fisheries Service proposes to issue to Hilcorp Alaska, LLC. an Incidental Harassment Authorization (IHA) to take marine mammals, by harassment, incidental to a shallow geohazard survey in the Beaufort Sea, Alaska., pursuant to the Marine Mammal Protection Act. NMFS requests comments on its proposal to issue an IHA to Hilcorp to take, by Level B harassment only, 6 species of marine mammals during the specified activity. NMFS must receive any comments and information on this proposed IHA no later than June 15, 2015.
