Dr. Samet missed a major opportunity to vet the material TPSAC will use to write the menthol report. Not only did he let the poor reports from UCSF stay in the system, he failed to use the TPSAC meeting to vet the white papers prepared by the FDA staff. How can the menthol report survive peer review when it will be built on less than credible reasearch work?
