Environmental Groups File DQA Petitions
Several environmental groups including the Colorado Environmental Coalition have reportedly filed Data Quality Act petitions with the Bureau of Land Management. The DQA petitions seek correction of BLM natural-gas development estimates in the Roan Plateau (Colorado) management plan. If the reports are accurate, then this is still another instance of environmental groups using an Act that some have labeled only an industry tool.
