Comments Due on OMB’s Draft Cost Benefits Report to Congress
OMB requests comments on its 2007 Draft Report to Congress on the Costs and Benefits of Federal Regulations. OMB’s Report is required by Section 624 of the FY 2001 Treasury and General Appropriations Act. The Report contains estimates of the costs and benefits of regulations in the aggregate, by agency and agency program, and by major rule. The Report also analyzes the impacts of federal regulations on State, local, and tribal governments, small businesses, wages and economic growth. The Act requires public comment on and peer review of the report.

Comments on the Report must be in writing and received by OMB by June 11, 2007.
