EPA Announces Public Meeting and Documents on New Nano Stewardship Program
On July 12, 2007, the US Environmental Protection Agency announced the availability of two nanotechnology documents for public comment. The Agency also announced a public meeting to receive public comment on EPA’s development of a voluntary Nanoscale Materials Stewardship Program.

The two documents are entitled “Concept Paper for the Nanoscale Materials Stewardship Program under TSCA ,” and “TSCA Inventory Status of Nanoscale Substances–General Approach.” Comments on these two documents are due September 10, 2007.

These two nano papers will inform the public meeting on August 2, 2007. The subject of the meeting will be how to develop a voluntary Nanoscale Materials Stewardship Program under TSCA. Anyone wishing to attend the meeting should register on or before July 30, 2007.
