President Issues Executive Order on Climate Change
President Obama has issued an Executive Order that assumes climate change is occurring. Among other requirements, the order creates a new interagency Council on Climate Preparedness and Resilience and directs all federal agencies to focus on improving the nation's ability to anticipate and adapt to changing climate conditions.
