Proposed Revisions of Community Reinvestment Act Rules
The Office of the U.S. Comptroller of the Currency, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation have published notice of their intent toamend their regulations implementing the Community Reinvestment Act. These proposed revisions update the existing definitions of''home mortgage loan'' and ''consumerloan,'' related cross references, and the public file content requirements toconform recent revisions made by theConsumer Financial Protection Bureauto Regulation C, which implements the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act and to remove obsolete references to the Neighborhood Stabilization Program. The agencies must receive any comments on these proposed revisions must be received onor before October 20, 2017.
