Comment on DoT's Proposed Response to Executive Order 13777
Pursuant to the policies stated in Executive Order 13777, the U.S. Department of the Treasury conducted a review of existing regulations, with the goal of reducing regulatory burden by revoking or revising existing regulations that meet the criteria set forth in the executive order. DoT has published a notice of proposed rulemaking to streamline its regulations by removing one regulation that is no longer necessary because it does not have any current or future applicability, and by amending one regulation to remove portions that no longer have any current or future applicability. Comments are dueto DoT by June 8, 2018.
