EPA Decides to Retain NOX Standards
Based on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's review of the air quality criteria addressing human health effects of oxides of nitrogen and the primary national ambient air quality standards for oxides of nitrogen, as measured by nitrogen dioxide, the EPA is retaining the current standards, without revision.
